South African Smart Cities

Thank you for attending!  See you in 2019.

It is predicted that by 2050, 70% of the world’s population will be living in smart cities. By 2030, at least six of the world’s megacities will be located in Africa. South Africa is expected to provide one or more of these megacities, but are South African smart cities still about 20 years away?

South African Smart Cities #SmartChats will bring together under one roof public and private sector players who will determine the future of South African smart cities and reinvent urban living in the smartest ways possible.

Join us as we explore how to make South African smart cities a reality. Together we will define how to navigate social, financial, environmental, and technological hurdles to build cities that will secure the environment, quality of life and freedom of movement.
